Kindergarten registration reopens on August 2, 2023. The district-wide online registration information is available at https://www.murrayschools.org/registration-page/.
We ask that all incoming kindergarten parents complete this Google form to assist us with planning for the school year. This form will allow you to state your preference for kindergarten sessions.
PLEASE CALL THE MAIN OFFICE AT (801) 264-7416 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING IN THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MENTIONED BELOW.
The Kindergarten registration process is simple. Here are the steps:
- Register for Kindergarten online.
- Call Grant’s office for an appointment to submit official documents.
- Bring the following: (1) your child’s original birth certificate, (2) two documents proving residency (must include parent(s) or guardian(s) name(s) and physical address) OR complete a non-resident application and be accepted, and (3) their original immunization record. We will make copies of each document.
- Please remember that Kindergarten registration is for all children who will turn five years old on or before September 1, 2023. If your child is currently attending the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), you still need to register with Grant.
- Bring the following: (1) your child’s original birth certificate, (2) two documents proving residency (must include parent(s) or guardian(s) name(s) and physical address) OR complete a non-resident application and be accepted, and (3) their original immunization record. We will make copies of each document.
- Please note:
Grant Elementary will now offer Full Day Kindergarten classes only! However, if you prefer your child to only attend in the AM, that will be possible. He/she will be enrolled in a Full Day Kindergarten class, but only during the morning. Unfortunately, a PM only class option is not available.
School Times 2023-2024:
*Full-day (8:40 am-3:15 pm M-T-Th-F and 8:40 am-1:15 pm on W)
*Morning (8:40 am-11:40 am on M-T-Th-F and 8:40 am-10:40 am on W)

Kindergarten assessments will be held in August and we will contact you regarding a specific appointment date and time. Final class lists, with teacher assignments. will be available in early August. Kindergarten begins August 28, 2023. See you then!
