2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open on March 6, 2024. If you have a Kindergarten student (must be 5 years old before September 1, 2024) next year, please complete this form to help administration start formatting our plan for our Kindergarten classes. Grant will have full-day and half-day kindergarten options.

The district-wide online registration information is available at https://www.murrayschools.org/registration-page/.

PLEASE CALL THE MAIN OFFICE AT (801) 264-7416 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO BRING IN THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MENTIONED BELOW.

The Kindergarten registration process is simple. Here are the steps one more time:

Register for Kindergarten online.
Complete Grant’s Google form.
Call Grant’s office for an appointment to submit official documents.
- Bring the following: (1) your child’s original birth certificate, (2) two documents proving residency (must include parent(s) or guardian(s) name(s) and physical address) OR complete a non-resident application and be accepted, and (3) their original immunization record. We will make copies of each document.
  - If you do not bring documentation in by early April, we will have a final “all call” for paperwork on Wednesday, April 10th from 1:30-2:30 PM.
  - Please remember that Kindergarten registration is for all children who will turn five years old on or before September 1, 2024. If your child is currently attending the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC), you still need to register with Grant.

Kindergarten assessments will be held in August and we will provide more details as they become available. Final class lists will be available after testing. See you then!

2024-2025 Bell Schedules

Breakfast will be served daily starting at 8:30 am. The first bell rings at 8:40 am and the tardy bell rings at 8:45 am.

Full-day Kindergarten and Grades 1-6

M-T-Th-F: 8:40 am-3:15 pm
W: 8:40 am-1:15 pm

*The first week of school will be five early dismissal days for students (out at 1:15 pm.)

AM only session of Full-day Kindergarten

M-F: 8:40 am-11:40 am

Curriculum

The curriculum used by the District and the schools in the district shall be made accessible and available for parents to view.
